Our Easter Sunday morning message draws our hearts and minds once again to the wonder of the Risen Christ. There are 2 scripture readings: Luke 18 v. 31-33, and John 14 v. 1-16
This message, preached on the evening of Palm Sunday, is taken from Matthew 21 v. 12-17. (NB, there is no recording of the Morning Service)
In this message, we look at a parable Jesus told just before he entered Jerusalem at the Passover. He speaks of a King, his servants and his subjects. For his servants, rewards are based on faithfulness, but for his (rebellious) subjects, there will come judgement.
This is the final message from the Book of Isaiah in this current block. Chapter 39 relates to us the last days of King Hezekiah, and creates in us a longing for the coming of God’s true King – the Lord Jesus Christ.
