This message from Isaiah 37 is in many ways a climax of much that has gone before in the previous chapters. God delivers his people, demonstrating that He  is the one in whom they should trust, and also brings about Sennacherib, King of Assyria’s downfall. “Fading is the worldling’s pleasure, all his boasted pomp and show…..”
