Returning to Isaiah 26 for the second part of the chapter, we continue to address the theme ‘God alone can rescue, God alone can save’. With readings from Isaiah 26 v. 12-21 and Mark 10 v. 17-27, we see so clearly that salvation is of the Lord, and him alone.
In this message from Mark 4 and 5, we first see Jesus calm a storm, then bring deliverance to a demon-possessed man. Peace and calm are the result in both, but those witnessing the events are terrified of Christ’s power, and the yet amazed by the testimony of a transformed life.
