Returning to our studies in Isaiah, under the overall theme of “I saw the Lord”, we find ourselves at Chapter 24, beginning a portion of the book sometimes called ‘ Isaiah’s Apocalypse’. In these verses, Isaiah looks far into the future, proclaiming the momentous event of Christ’s glorious return.
Continuing our evening series asking the question “What Did Jesus Do”, we see in Mark 1 v. 40 -Mark 2 v. 12 that Jesus not only heals diseases, but forgives sin.
In this final message in our “Jesus says – Come…..” summer series, we come to the words of Jesus in Luke 18 v. 18-30. “Come, and follow me”, is the invitation he gives to the rich young ruler, and it is still the invitation he gives to us today.
This evening, our WDJD (What DID Jesus Do) series brings us to the beginning of Jesus’ preaching ministry. He begins to call his disciples, to share in his mission, bringing light into the darkness. The main scripture passage is Matthew 4 v. 12-25
